JCPenney prices we track

JCPenney contributes 36 live listings to our index, mostly shoes (25 of 36), with 4 other categories represented.

Those listings cover 16 brands — 24Seven Comfort Apparel, Antigua, BERNE, Disney, EAST FIFTH, EASY STREET, among others — a broad catalogue rather than a deep one, at 2.2 styles per brand. Prices we hold run $7.49 to $1,249.99, median $59.99. That median runs 44% under the $107.00 median across all 1,129 shoes items we track, so they sit at the cheaper end of the shoes stores in our index. 31 of the 36 listings are marked down right now, averaging 25% off the retailer's own stated full price — not off any estimate of what the items are worth. 34 of 36 listings report in stock, and their feed was last read Oct 11, 07:13 UTC. What we do not know about JCPenney we do not claim: we have not reviewed their sourcing, shipping or returns, and nothing above is a judgement about the shop itself. It describes the catalogue and the prices we read from their product feed.
