Prixette ships nothing.
No orders, no warehouse, no deliveries. What that means for a price comparison is the useful part: the cheapest listed price is not always the cheapest delivered one.
The short version
| Orders taken | None |
|---|---|
| Shipping we perform | None |
| Delivery estimates we give | None |
| Markets we track | United States only |
Prixette has no warehouse, no carrier account and no orders to fulfil. Everything you buy after leaving this site is picked, packed and shipped by the store you bought it from, at their cost and on their schedule.
Why our prices do not include shipping
Because we have not seen your basket. Shipping is set at the store’s checkout from your address, your order total and the options you pick, and none of that exists while you are reading a comparison. Every price on Prixette is the item price the store listed, with the date and time we read it.
This matters for the comparison itself, so we would rather say it than bury it: the cheapest listed price is not always the cheapest delivered price. A store that is two dollars more but ships free can beat one that is cheaper and charges eight. When you have two offers close together, take both to checkout before you decide — that is the only place the real number appears.
United States only
We track US storefronts and prices in US dollars. We do not publish international prices, we do not convert currencies into a comparison, and we make no claim about delivery to any other country. If you are shopping from outside the US, nothing here is written for you.
What we are building
Shipping cost and speed belong next to the price, for the same reason returns do: they change which offer actually wins. We are recording, store by store, what each retailer publishes about free-shipping thresholds, standard cost and typical delivery time — from their own pages, with the date we read them and a link to the source.
Until a store’s terms are on file and dated we publish nothing about its shipping, and we will never estimate one. A guessed delivery date is indistinguishable from a promise, and we are in no position to make a promise about a parcel we are not sending.
